Star Wars Galactic Heroes: Hoth Snowspeeder Assault

Alongside Hasbro's Galactic Heroes Assault on the Death Star playset, they have released the Hoth Snowspeeder Assault playset to recreate one of the trilogy's most memorable battles:

The Hoth Snowspeeder Assault package is a cinema scene line of Galatic Heroes so it includes a number of small figurines that are also sold as small packs of 2 and usually a large item such as a monster or space craft (like the snowspeeder in this set).

Like all Galactic Heroes cinema scene sets, the packaging is a half circle shape, features an open window to see the contents, and the inside packaging is colored and crafted to replicate a scene from the movie.

Included: Dack Ralter, Imperial Droid, Luke Skywalker, helmet, and snowspeeder.

Top of the box:

The cockpit opens to fit Luke Skywalker in the front while fitting Dack in the back gunner seat.

Snowspeeder closeup:

If you look closely, even the grapple hook is included with the tow cable used to take down the Imperial AT-AT!

Dack and Luke:

Luke has his trusty lightsaber - ready to use it once Hasbro releases a AT-AT set.

Imperial Droid:

This is the same droid that landed on Hoth and captured images of the Rebel base's shield generator.

A nice aspect of the cinema sets are the use of folded paper to replicate scenes from the movie just like this Rebel Laser Turret:

I really like the space crafts packages with the Galactic Heroes cinema line because of their cuteness and their playability with the figurines. But the figurines are not as entertaining as they have no articulation but just a shaped piece of plastic. They're very cute but there's only so much you can do. The figurines are still good to smash together to represent a hand to hand combat and very durable for children.

The Galactic Heroes cinema line has been very popular and frequently sold old. Hasbro has been slowly releasing many different sets so it'll take a while to collect them all. If you're looking for something cute from the Star Wars universe that won't hurt your wallet, I highly recommend adding this memorable vehicle to your collection.
